Embrace your time with the Lord, no matter how busy you are! 10 Minutes in the Word: John is a perfect companion to studying the book of John from the Bible. Each day, read the assigned scripture, followed by the daily insights, explanations, and thoughts this devotional offers to truly understand this important book in the Bible. 10 Minutes in the Word: John invites you to delve into the gospel of John, the book where Jesus’ love for us is most fully explained. Whether you’re on a quick lunch break, between classes, or relishing some peace and quiet during your down time, 10 Minutes in the Word: John will bring you closer to God and understanding His heart. At a reasonable price and with a beautifully designed interior, 10 Minutes in the Word: John is small enough to easily slip into a backpack, handbag, or diaper bag. Keep it on hand for whenever you have a spare moment to connect with the Lord.

10 Minutes in the Word are my favorite devotionals that focus on different books from the Bible by Zondervan. I have previously read both the 10 Minutes in the Word: Psalms and 10 Minutes in the Word: Proverbs and loved them both. I was very excited to see that they had another one on the book of John being published.

10 Minutes in the Word: John has 46 chapters or devotionals. Each one begins with a brief Bible verse, followed by instructions to read a longer passage. There is then about a one page devotional, followed by a prayer relating to the topic at hand. At the end of each chapter, there are questions to ask yourself relating to what you just read and learned. The questions are one of my favorite things in this book because it really helps understand how you can apply what you just learned to your daily life. I really hope that Zondervan continues to publish these devotionals and if you haven’t read them, I encourage you to not only pick up this one, but also the books on Psalms and Proverbs.

Thank you to the publisher, Zondervan, for sending me a review copy of this book.
