Introducing Tyndale’s newest addition to the bestselling Inspire line, and the first―and only―Catholic coloring Bible. The Inspire Catholic Bible features over 450 beautiful Scripture line-art illustrations to color plus two-inch-wide lightly ruled margins with extra space to write notes and reflections or to draw and create original art. Inspire’s generous 8.65-point font is larger and more readable than most other journaling Bible fonts, and the high-quality white Bible paper is great for colorers and creative Bible journalers of all skill levels. Inspire Catholic Bible’s New Living Translation text has been approved by the Catholic Church for personal reading and features the official Imprimatur. The Holy Bible, New Living Translation, communicates God’s Word powerfully to all who read it, and Inspire is a wonderful legacy Bible for readers to record their faith journey.

First, this Bible is gorgeous and would be great for young adults and teenage girls. The cover is pink and the edges of the pages have a beautiful floral design on them. I have seen pictures online of the journaling Bibles but this is the first one I have actually seen. Each page has space on the side with blank lines for notes and I wish they had made a Bible like this when I was younger. This would have be great to take to youth group or on retreats when people are speaking about different verses. Actually, this Bible would also be great just to take with you to church to take notes on the passages the Pastor is speaking on. And of course it is a great resource while studying the Bible at home. Every few pages there is a design that includes scripture from that page along with a design that can be colored. Although the Bible is made of fairly sturdy paper, I would probably recommend coloring with color pencils so there is no bleed through on the next page. Overall this is a great interactive Bible that I think could be really useful in a variety of different ways.

Thank you to the publisher, Tyndale House Publishers, for sending me a review copy of this Bible.
