Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Throwback Thursday post. There are so many amazing books that I have read and would like to share with others. So I just scrolling through my “Read” list on Goodreads starting with my highest rated books. Every week I will add a few books I have really enjoyed with a brief review and I am hoping you might find a new favorite.

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite books from the author and I highly recommend it. The two main characters in this book, Sydney and Ridge, have being living across from each other, without knowing the other. After Sydney’s seemingly perfect life begins falling apart, she is forced to move out of her apartment suddenly and Ridge offers her a room in which to stay. Ridge plays in a band and the two start to write songs together. I don’t want to add any spoilers so I will leave the description brief, but this book is amazing. I have said this over and over but Colleen Hoover is really such an amazing author. The stories she writes continue to amaze me and she will always be one of my favorite authors. If you haven’t read anything by Colleen Hoover, this is certainly one I would recommend starting with!

A Court of Thorns & Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas is one of my all time favorite series. I decided to include the whole series because I gave all the books 5 stars. So the basic synopsis for this series is we have our main character, Feyre, who is 19, a huntress and kills a wolf in the woods, not knowing that the wolf is actually Fae. Another beast like creature appears at Feyre’s door and demands that as payment for killing the wold, Feyre must go to live in the land of the Fae. The series follows Feyre through her journey in the Fae world. It’s hard to describe the entire series without any spoilers, but it is epic and I recommend it to everyone. Maas is one of my favorite authors and this series really opened up my love for YA fantasy. I am hoping to have time in the near future to do a re-read of this series!
