Short daily readings will encourage you to open your heart with gratitude to all the ways God has blessed you. In 365 Devotions for a Thankful Heart, each entry starts with an inspiring Scripture and ends with a short prayer to help focus your heart on thankfulness as you go about your day. Each devotion is the perfect length to fit into even the busiest schedule, but substantial enough to start your day on just the right note.

I have received several really great daily devotionals from Zonderevan and this one I really enjoyed as well. Obviously I have not read the entire year yet, but I enjoyed the first few weeks. The devotionals are a bit different from what I usually read but I like the thankful theme. I am used to devotionals where you look up scripture in the Bible and then come back and read the devotional. This book includes a short bit of scripture each day followed by the devotional. They are fairly short but they are very easy to understand and relate to. This is a devotional book that I would gift someone who is new to daily devotionals, as they aren’t as overwhelming as others can be. I have just added this book on to the devotional book I am already reading. Also, the cover of this book, as well as the interior pages are gorgeous. A good daily reminder of all the things we should be thankful and grateful for.

Thank you to the publisher, Zondervan, for sending me a review copy of this book.
