Finished The Stillwater Girls today by Minka Kent. First book I have read by the author and I really enjoyed it. It was definitely a unique story with a lot of different elements; a family living off the grid, mystery and suspense. Add this to your TBR for April. Thank you to the publisher and @netgalley for sending me an ARC of this book.
The Wicked King by @blackholly was everything I hoped it would be and more. So many twists and turns. And that ending! I am going to need the next book ASAP!
I own an absurd amount of series and I’m determined to read many of them this year. Everyone kept recommending this series, so I bought it, but never read it lol. It’s on my TBR for sometime this year. I’m determined to decrease the number of unread books I own this year!
When I received an ARC of The Girls at 17 Swann Street by Yara Zgheib from @stmartinspress I didn’t know much about it. I am so glad I read it! The writing was beautiful and the story itself is so important. If you haven’t already, definitely add this one to you TBR, it was published last week! Anyone else read this one yet?
Next up in my TBR is An Anonymous Girl by @greer.hendricks and @sarahpekkanen I loved The Wife Between Us and I have heard great things about this book! It is my next book for the #unreadbotmchallenge and February’s book for @criminallygoodbookclub 📚
This year is most certainly the year of unread book challenges and I have quite a few of unread books on my shelves. Like hundreds. The Bad Seed is a classic that I have seen around my horror/thriller loving bookstagram friend’s pages. Geek Love was a recommendation that came from one my few “in real life” book friends. She said it was her all time favorite book so I picked it up. If you have read either of these, I would love to hear your opinion on them! Anyone else working on minimizing unread books this year?
